Q: When is the best time to schedule engagement photos?

A: If you are planning on using your images for your Save the Date cards, I suggest scheduling 4-5 months before your wedding day. I have had brides schedule as early as a year prior and as late as the month of the wedding.

Q: What should we wear for our engagement photos?

A: Wear something more elevated than your usual attire but something you are comfortable in. Don't feel like you need to step out of your comfort zone for this session. I want it to represent yall! Steer clear of crazy patterns, graphics, and loud colors. I suggest not trying to match but to coordinate. Still don't know? Send me pictures of your ideas, I am happy to help you put together outfits!

Q:Do you travel?

A: Yes! I am always up for an adventure! Once the location is set we can discuss travel fees.

q: How do I receive my images?

A: Once your gallery is complete, I will send you an email with a link to your secure gallery. From there you will be able to download your images directly to your computer.

Q: How many hours of wedding day coverage do you recommend?

A: Most brides book between 8-10 hours of coverage. Once your date is secure I can help you build a wedding day timeline so we make the best use of your wedding day coverage.

Q: Will we get sneak peeks?

A: Yes! I will post a sneak peek 2-3 days after your wedding. I will also post a preview album on Facebook 2-3 weeks after your wedding date. Feel free to share your sneak peek and album from my page and tag friends and family.

Q: When will I receive my wedding gallery?

A: Tom Petty said it best, "The waiting is the hardest part." Believe me I want you to see your images and relive your wedding moments as soon as possible, but of course editing takes time. Complete wedding galleries are delivered within 9-12 weeks of your wedding date.

Q: Can we post our photos to social media?

A: Absolutely!! I love social media! All I ask is that you credit Laken Mackenzie Photography when posting and do not crop, edit, or filter the images in any way.

Q: How do we secure our date?

A: It's easy! I will send you a contract via email. You will be able to sign and pay your retainer fee all in one place. Once the contract and payment have been received your date is all yours!

Q: How many photos can I expect?

A: You can expect to receive 50-75 edited images per shooting hour in your wedding gallery.

Q: Is there a cancellation fee?

A: No, however the paid retainer fee is non-refundable.

Still have questions? Shoot me an email, I am happy to help!
